Mehdi Gafsia

Mehdi Gafsia is a 20-year-old Tunisian composer and multi-instrumentalist. A classical piano award winner, he develops a musical language at the crossroads of jazz, hip-hop, and North African traditions. He has released three personal projects (2003, Attrape qui ne peut, Troisième) and is currently working on a new album with JOMAA and SOFTYN. He also collaborated with artist Amaka Jaji, producing several live performances in venues such as B7L9 and Studio Fan. His artistic journey stands out for its strong cultural grounding and a free, contemporary approach to sound exploration.
