Guest Artists - December 2025 Residency
In December 2025, Tilal Utique becomes a sanctuary for creation, welcoming six multidisciplinary artists from distant horizons for two weeks, brought together by the suspended time of the residency.

Kiluanji Kia Henda (Luanda,1979) is an Angolan artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans photography, video, performance, installation andmusic. His work uses fictional strategies to reimagine history and expand collective narratives, opening space to reflect on identity, politics and African modernities. Through poetic displacement, he questions structures of memory and power. Kia Henda has exhibited internationally, including the 60th Venice Biennale, Centre Pompidou, Tate Modern, Guggenheim Bilbao, Gwangju Biennale, São Paulo Biennial and the Luanda Triennial. He received Angola’s National Culture Prize (2012), the Frieze Artist Award (2017) and the Moleskine Foundation’s Creativity for Social Change Award (2025).
