In December 2025, Tilal Utique becomes a sanctuary for creation, welcoming six multidisciplinary artists from distant horizons for two weeks, brought together by the suspended time of the residency.

Hazem Header
Hazem Header is an Egyptian contemporary dancer and choreographer. He founded Breaking Walls Dance Film Festival in 2021, the first of its kind in Egypt and the region, and earlier launched Cairo’s first international site-specific festival, the Breaking Walls Festival (2017). In 2013, he established NÜT Dance Company, producing contemporary dance works and cultural events in Cairo. Hazem’s international presence includes being selected for IETM’s Global Connectors Programme (2021) and his election to the IETM Advisory Committee in 2024. He holds a BA in Physical Education, specializing in biomechanics and kinesiology, and trained at the governmental Cairo Contemporary Dance Centre.
