Cyrine Kalai Residency

Choreographer

Cyrine Kalai joined Tilal Utique for a residency to develop her project “Révélation”, a poetic exploration of shifting identities. Through contemporary and neo-classical movements, interwoven with gestures drawn from everyday life, six dancers reinterpret traditional roles and challenge social norms. Set to an original musical composition based on Schubert’s 8th Symphony, the piece invites us to reflect and celebrate the beauty of human expression. This choreography dives deep into the metamorphoses of bodies and identities, where dance becomes a powerful tool to deconstruct and reinvent roles; offering a singular, introspective perspective on the relationship with oneself.
