Chadine Tazi

Born in Rabat in 1995, Chedine is a mixed media artist, researcher, and writer. After a BA in International Development from McGill and an MSc in Conflict Studies from LSE, she worked as a peace and security analyst in Addis Ababa (2019–2023), where she began exploring the theme of anxiety through art. Also a writer, Chedine is a laureate of the Prix du Jeune Écrivain (2022) and is finalizing a short story collection for publication. Since returning to Morocco in 2023, her practice has continued to explore turbulent mental states at the crossroads of personal and political themes, through experimental mixed-media projects exhibited in Marrakech and Casablanca. Alongside her artistic work, she continues to conduct research for humanitarian organizations.
